This was a nice little place and made us realize the state of Washington was going to be pretty cool. There was a gorgeous river down a hill and a very relaxed atmosphere.
Jack and his girlfriend CJ were the best neighbors we've had yet on this trip. Jack is ex-Navy Special Forces, but now lives his life in the spiritual retreat of music. Sam recorded some his his jargon and folksy sound on his iPhone. He had us all riveted with a spectacular rendition of "House of the Risisng Sun." He is a topiary artsist, like Edward ScissorHands, and makes animal cutouts for people's lawn and gardens. I hope his back and foot heal well.
Of course you guys would meet an ex-hippie - Looks like a beautiful place to be!
