The one thing that has made this city so great is that the people are so friendly. Erin and I walked around this morning in search of soy sauce and green onions for the congi (rice porridge) I made, and the locals greeted us with 'good morning' as we passed. It was so nice! Yesterday on the way to the camping supply store, we were stopped at a light with windows down and playing some music. The man in the car next to us rolled down his window and asked us what we were listening to. He said it was an interesting sound. Max (riding passenger side) told him it was the Grateful Dead, and that the CD was a best-of mix. Then Max handed him another Dead CD that we had on hand and told him to keep it. The guy thanked us and asked us where we were from. He was surprised when we told him New York because we were so nice. We told him that New Yorkers are good people! He then handed us a mixed tape of his own- an REM mix- before the lights changed and we drove off with a wave. That would never have happened in NYC!

The Art Museum looks very nice. Even though NY has great art museums. Wrigley Field is awesome and all the architecture in Chicago is beautiful. Glad you had a great time speak to you soon. Have fun in Wisconsin and Minnesota with Uncle Woody!
